I started practicing law in 2008, in family law, and moved over the years into the transactional work I do now. What has stayed constant is a conviction I formed long before I had a license: my clients are in business to make money, not to sit in a courtroom. I have watched firms drive an agenda that burns through a client’s time, money, and business while everyone congratulates themselves on the fight. I run a small firm because I want to be the one who reads your documents. When a matter needs more firepower than I can bring, I say so and hand it to a firm that can. When it needs a tax opinion, I bring in a CPA or a tax attorney, because I do not pretend to be a tax expert. Knowing where my work ends is part of doing it well.
